Curiosity pushes me towards novel experiences and I'm a fan of jumping into the deep end with eyes closed.
I program computers, draw, cycle, do calisthenics, read, cook, play the ukulele, juggle and will probably start dabbling with something new next week.
Currently, I'm a junior studying engineering in information technology.
KBT Vega is the student aerospace club at MVPS’s KBT College of Engineering. This initiative was born out of boredom, just as a hobby project - to try amateur rocketry. From there, it has now grown into a student club with a grand mission - to build and launch student built satellites into orbit. I am one of the founding members, and I worked as the Technical Lead (basically Deputy Director), specifically leading the development of payload firmware and the avionics bay. The current project is to build a CanSat to study environmental effects on bird populations.
NxtQube builds fully autonomous Drone Docking Stations, enabling missions at remote sites enabling surveillance, monitoring, and inspection of critical infrastructure. Here, I developed and tested embedded firmware for dock peripherals in Python and C++, and was assigned maintenance of legacy docks and firmware. Testing precision landing at night (low light conditions, I mean) was the best part.
